Welcome to Stunning Abercastle West Wales

Carreg Samson known as Carreg Sampson, Samson's Stone, or the Longhouse

Abercastle Campsite (formally known as Garn Gwely Campsite) is set on the small holding of Garn Isaf, Abercastle. It sits in a picturesque location just 5 – 10 minutes walk from the tiny fishing harbour and beaches of Abercastle and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

It is in the heart of Pembrokeshire National Park, Wales, the only coastal National Park in the United Kingdom and close to St Davids.

Abercastle Campsite offers spacious pitches which include campfire pits and picnic tables. It is surrounded by traditional earth banks which encourage wildlife to visit. At night, the sky is sometimes caressed by the loom of the Strumble Head lighthouse. On a clear night the night sky is just amazing.

Abercastle Campsite is surrounded by stunning scenery, points of interest, ancient history and a plethora of wildlife habitats.

We are a quiet site so everyone can enjoy their camping holiday. ( No loud music, a no radio site ( meaning the volume of music is low so no other pitches or the properties of Garn Isaf can also hear your music!).

We are a dog friendly site and dogs are very welcome, but please be mindful that there are other guests and to keep your dog under control at all times, out of courtesy. We also have 4 sheep ( The Ladies – Tinkerbell, Snowy, Cinders and Mary) and 1 Shetland Pony, April. These will be in the front field and would not be impressed if dogs come into their field!
