About Us
Abercastle Campsite has been welcoming guests for over 20 years. Formerly known as Garn Gwely, we’re proud of our roots as a simple, nature-friendly site that offers space, silence and a warm welcome. Family-run and eco friendly, we’re passionate about the local area, wildlife and helping guests fall in love with the area as we have done. Read more here

Location & Getting Here
Tucked between the harbour village of Abercastle and the wild North Pembrokeshire coast, our campsite is easy to reach and hard to leave. Use our interactive map to find your way, and see public transport options, including the handy Strumble Shuttle – a dog-friendly coastal bus that stops outside the site. Read more here

Staying at Abercastle Campsite
We have 15 very large pitches however usually only use 12 to keep the site quiet. Each pitch has:
- Water point adjacent to each pitch
- A fire pit and picnic table
- Optional electric hook-up
- Room to breathe
Facilities include showers, flushing toilets, fridges, washing up facilities, and wifi (not for streaming), plus Anne has her own body boards, SUP boards and kayaks which she’s happy to lend to you.

Children 3 years and under are free. Dogs also go free.

Booking Terms & Conditions
· Check-in from 4pm / Check-out by 11am
· Quiet hours from 10pm to 7am
· In the event of cancellation, please let us know as soon as possible

Advance booking is recommended, especially for school holidays and bank weekends, although “walk-ins” are welcome if we have space.

Campsite Guidelines
We keep rules to a minimum but ask guests to respect the peace and natural setting:
- Please read our general rules
- No disposable BBQs – these are strictly prohibited.
- Quiet is key – you can enjoy music, but if others can hear it, it’s too loud.
