Prices – Abercastle Campsite
We like to keep things simple, and that includes our pricing. There are no hidden charges, no seasonal increases and most facilities are free to use during your stay. We are very clear about any additions to be charged for as below.
Whether you’re walking the coast path for one night or settling in for a longer break, we offer spacious pitches, a relaxed atmosphere, and a warm welcome.
2025 Prices
Pitch fee (per night):
£30 per pitch – includes up to 2 adults, all children 3 years old and under, and dogs.
£12 per night – single back pack coastal walker, with no vehicle
Extra payment required (per night):
- Each additional adult (17 and over): £12
- Children (16 and under): £6
- Electric hook-up (EHU – optional): £7 per day or £45 per week

- Awning, pup tent or small gazebo on the same pitch

- Spacious grass pitch

- Loan of water sports gear if available

- Waste and recycling
- Chemical disposal point (with septic-friendly chemicals only)
- Advice and help from Anne if you need it and
- Our beautiful north Pembrokeshire!
Electric Hook Up
We are conscious that not everyone will want or need EHU. Therefore, it’s an optional extra. If you don’t need it, you don’t have to pay for it. EHU costs £7 per day or £45 per week. Please let Anne know if you want it when you book.
Check In / Out
You’re welcome to arrive from 4pm onwards. Sometimes we are able to accommodate you earlier, so please speak to Anne.
Please aim to leave your pitch by 11am on departure day. If you’d like to arrive early or leave later, just ask and Anne will do her best to accommodate provided we have space.
Bookings
To book a pitch or check availability, please email info@abercastlecampsite.com, or call or text Anne on 07969 529929. Alternatively you can fill out our handy form below. Week bookings are generally Saturday to Saturday.
We recommend booking in advance for school holidays and bank holiday weekends, as the site can fill up quickly during peak times. “Walk-ins” are very welcome providing we have space for you.
Over the school holidays, we take week-long bookings to start with. Short breaks might open up closer to the time, just check back nearer the date!
Payment
An initial payment is usually taken at the time of booking following return of your booking form. The balance is due 3 months prior to your stay. The whole amount is due on booking if you book less than 3 months in advance. Anne will confirm details when you book.

Greener Camping Club
You may wonder why we ask you to become a member ofthe Greener Camping Club. Simply put, it’s a legal requirement.
The GCC is recognised as an exempted organisation by Natural England and the Welsh Government. That status enables landowners like Anne to run small ecocamping sites lawfully without planning permission, provided all campers are GCC members. So, membership is legally required.
This arrangement closely mirrors how the Caravan & Camping Club exemption operates: only club members may stay, and the club’s approval allows the site to function under relaxed planning controls. It’s similar to the Caravan and Camping Club in that both offer access to a network of campsites and promote responsible camping. Just like their membership, joining the Greener Camping Club is inexpensive and valid for a year, plus it helps support sustainable tourism.
Membership costs just £12 a year, includes everyone in your household, and supports tree planting and sustainable camping. It’s ideal for those who want more space, less crowd, and a lighter footprint.”
